The CodeCell C3 Light is a compact electronic development module measuring
just 18.5 mm wide. It combines an Arduino-compatible ESP32-C3
microcontroller with Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth Low Energy 5, USB-C programming,
LiPo battery charging, ambient-light sensing and proximity sensing.
It provides six programmable GPIO pins, including ADC and PWM functions,
together with I²C and multiple power connections for compatible modules,
sensors and actuators.
The module can be powered through USB-C or a compatible single-cell LiPo
battery. USB-C supports programming, serial communication and battery
charging. The BQ24232 power-management IC allows the battery to charge
while the project continues operating.
The onboard VCNL4040 is an infrared-based sensor that measures ambient
light and proximity at distances of up to approximately 20 cm. This makes
the C3 Light suitable for interactive lighting, touch-free controls,
automatic brightness adjustment and compact IoT projects.
The CodeCell.h Arduino library provides ready-to-use
functions, tutorials and example projects. CodeCell can also connect to
the MicroLink app for wireless controls and real-time sensor feedback.
Each box includes one CodeCell C3 Light, four M1.2 screws, a battery-cable and three sets of
female headers. Depending on the selected variant, the headers are supplied
unsoldered or pre-soldered. The Battery Cable variants include a 1.25 mm battery cable. The battery
variants include a 170 mAh 20C, 3.7 V LiPo battery with a pre-fitted
connector. The battery measures approximately 23 × 17.5 × 8.7 mm and
weighs approximately 4.6 g. Its datasheet is available
here.
